Formed in 2010, Mustered Courage was born to bridge a gap between traditional bluegrass music and the Australian alternative music scene. Two long term friends collaborated with the goal to create a record blending modern song writing with the instrumentation and energy of traditional bluegrass music.

Only one year since the group's formation, Mustered Courage is ready to release their unique debut album. Rough demos from the forthcoming album were enough to catch the attention of Laughing Outlaw Records and the band has now penned a deal with the record label and will be releasing the self-titled album in September 2011.

Laughing Outlaw's Stuart Coupe has been heard to comment "I always wanted a band as good as The Old Crow Medicine Show on the label and I reckon I've found them."

With its upbeat country-laced pop, 'Money Mouth' will be the first infectious single released to radio whereas, the B-side, 'On the Run' is a nostalgic bluegrass ballad revealing some of the best new songwriting and talent talent you'll hear this or any other year.
